Bishop CT Wells

Bishop C.T. Wells is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church and the Founding Pastor of Emmanuel East Worship and Outreach Center.  A single, thriving ministry with two strategic central and east locations situated in the beautiful City of Portland, Oregon. 

Pastor Wells holds a MA in Christian Ministries from George Fox University, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Friends International University.  He has traveled around the country and the world preaching, teaching, and training leaders.  He is the author of Courageous in Conflict, a book containing 15 practical and biblical principles, which can help anyone, of any background; think wisely about meeting conflict head on and walking away the better for it. 

He serves as President of Market Place Community Impact, a non-profit community-based social service arm of Emmanuel Church.  (MPCI) mission is to inspire and cultivate health, wealth and early childhood educational programs in communities in the city of Portland.  The four pillars of the vision call for providing affordable housing for families, wealth & income institute, chronic health support and early childhood educational & cultural facilities. 

Dr. Wells is one of six founding pastors of “Wind-11:45” an organization that bring churches and pastors together in the greater Portland area for fellowship and inspiration that is centered on the Word of God, prayer, and worship.

He is honored to serve as the Provincial Bishop for Global United Fellowship.  An international fellowship of churches headed by the honorable, Bishop Neal C. Ellis.  His Provincial oversight includes the states of; Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Alaska.  

Lastly our Bishop serves as the Senior Servant of the Fellowship of Full Gospel Pentecostal Churches.  Which is a rebirth of what was formerly known as the Full Gospel Pentecostal Association. 

Dr. Wells has been married to the love of his life, First Lady DeAngeloa S. Wells for over 38 years, they are the proud parents of Chastity Wells Palmer (Cameron) and Ashlei Tellis (Charles) along with their five grandchildren. God has honored them greatly as all of their sons and daughters serve faithfully in ministry and are well accomplished.

Sr. Executive Pastor , First Lady DeAngeloa Wells

First Lady DeAngeloa Wells is a native Oregonian and grew up in the Portland area.  She supportively stands by the side of her husband of 39 years, Senior Pastor, Bishop C.T. Wells.  She compliments his leadership and together they facilitate the advancement of the ministry to a higher level of excellence. 

Gifted in administration, Lady DeAngeloa oversees the EDIFY pillar of the Emmanuel Church Ephesians 4:12 Ministry Model.  With a strong background in organizational development, she focuses on defining strategies, processes, and tools that will enhance the vision to strengthen Emmanuel’s ministries, build the community and advance the Kingdom of God.  She is passionate about Women’s Ministries and in 2005, she founded the Matters of the H.E.A.R.T. Conference which was formed for women to join in Healing, Encouragement, and Rejoicing Together.  She also has a heart for supporting Pastor’s wives.

She is an accomplished professional and has many years of experience in management at Nordstrom and NIKE as Director of Human Resources.  She recently retired from Portland General Electric where she was a member of the Senior Leadership Team.  She has also been involved in community work and served on many Boards and Task Forces.

Lady DeAngeloa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University.  As a therapist, she blends her natural talents and spiritual gifts to help bring holistic healing. Her desire is to see people overcome issues, trauma and debilitating emotions and obtain wellness in every area of their lives.

Together, Bishop C.T.& Lady DeAngeloa Wells have two beautiful, adult daughters Chastity Palmer and Ashlei Tellis, who are married and serve in ministry with their husbands. They are the proud grandparents of 4:  Carson, Eastlyn, Clark, Courtland and Brooks.
